IAB Switzerland’s Programmatic Advertising Day 2018
It was a real pleasure to have been on the guest panels for IAB Switzerland's Programmatic Advertising Day (PAD18SR). Many interesting topics were discussed around programmatic ad solutions, media performances, brand safety concerns, open vs closed ecosystems, etc.
Despite the challenges of certain platforms being walled gardens, there are opportunities in an open ecosystem (excluding brand safety concerns), provided that you've invested in your first-party data and are already leveraging it. We must also be open to the idea of data partnerships.
